Question: Are buildings containing dwelling units all of which are leased to students enrolled in a college or university degree program EXEMPT?

 

Answer: No & Yes. 

 No, it is not "exempt" unless it is an official dorm owned by a university. 

Yes, it is "exempt" if it is an official dormitory owned by a university. The property is “exempt” and an exemption form is required to be filed.
