LEAD TESTING FOR DAY CARE FACILITIES
In January 2018, The City of Philadelphia approved a new law (Section A-703) requiring that each day care facility in Philadelphia test all potable water outlets for lead and submit results to the Department of Public Health according to the following guidelines:
Required for any day care facility caring for 13 or more children
Perform testing every 5 years (beginning April 2018)
Reporting the results to the Public Health Department
Upon completion of the testing, we will issue you an EPA report confirming that there is no presence of lead in your property (as any presence of lead is dangerous) including the following:
Date of sampling
Name of EPA laboratory performing the testing
Lead results from each potable (drinking) water tap
Pricing
The cost of this service is $450 (for 3 sources of water). Each additional source (bathroom sink, kitchen sink, etc) is an additional $100 per source.
