Question: If I have a tenant eviction and I haven't filed a lead certificate (because the tenant is not cooperating), can I still evict the tenant?
Answer: (No and Yes). The judge will not hear your case unless you have a lead certificate. If this does happen, call us and we can work with your attorney to get your property certified or alternatively provide you a letter that the attorney can utilize in court to obtain a hearing.
