This week we are featuring a common question: 

 

Question: What is the lead law concerning AirBNB Rentals?  

 

Answer:   The new Philly Airbnb licensing law, which passed in June 2021, requires AirBnB/Vrbo’s/etc. operators to obtain a “Limited Lodging Operator License” from the Department of Licenses & Inspections (L&I),  and as such, this license is treated as a “rental license” and requires a lead certification to be submitted to the Public Health Department.
