FAQ Series: How do I get an old rental license for an eviction (if it's not on the Eclipse system)?

Question: How do I get an old rental license for an eviction (if it's not on the Eclipse system) for a previous year?

 

Answer: In some eviction cases (especially for those where the outstanding rent spans over a multiple-year rental license period), the municipal court requires both your current rental license and the previous rental license (especially for obtaining the judgment for money).

Unless you have your previous license, you will need to obtain it.  Fortunately (or unfortunately) L&I does not keep this data on the Eclipse system and you will need to request it separately using the link to the attached request form:
